Minis Class

Teaching our little ones about their heritage in the simplest and most fun way possible
Lessons
The first part of the session is interactive and fun. We learn Turkish numbers, songs, colours, animals and more. We speak in both English and Turkish to ensure children understand.
Following on from this part of the session we finish off by teaching some basic steps to traditional Turkish folk dance music.
We aim to help children develop listening skills, coordination, and rhythm. We work around the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Performances
Our Minis group will have the opportunity to take part in events such as out LTA Family Fun Day as well as other shows. They will get to wear traditional costume where necessary.
Trial Sessions
We offer a 2 week trial to give your child the chance to settle. The cost of this is £20. On completion of the trials and signing up for classes your child will receive their own LTA T-shirt for free (RRP £20).
Suitability
We recommend this session for children under the age of 4. We can however make some exceptions where required.
